This wonderful western electric b1 102 desk telephone is fully reconditioned and guaranteed to work. If you want a beautiful western electric desk phone, this is it!

It was totally taken apart, cleaned, polished, refinished, reassembled, and thoroughly tested. It was made in the 1920s for the bell system and upgraded by them in teh 1930s.

It is a model 102. It is marked b1 and western electric, made in usa, pat in usa, sept 16 24, pats app for on the back. The handset is an e1 made of bakelite and is in beautiful condition. Teh handset says trade mark, western electric, reg. sU pat. Off, e1, made ni usa. It has the 1930-50s transmitter capslue for excellent sound quality. This phone is not a reproduction! It is the real thing. The nice brown cloth cords, the quality brown felt on the bottom cover, and the number card on the dial are new. The base has a nice abked on semi-gloss black finish like the original. The finish is professionally applied, not a shiny spray can job. The dial is a we #4h made in 1931, has the early 132a dial plate, and makes that wonderful clickity clack sound when you dial. The dial says western electric, pat in usa, aug 13 12, aug 24 15, des may 7 18, sept 18 21, made in usa on the bottom. The anti-sidetone 634 subset (black box) contains the ringer, coil, and capacitors and has the same baked on finish as the phone. The subset can be placed on the wall or under the desk, table, or anything else that the phone sits on. As mentioned before, this phone is fully functional and ready to use. Just plug it into any standard modular jack.
To make a call, pick pu the receiver, dial the number, and talk. To receive a call, ipck up the receiver after hearing the old bell ring, and talk. This is a great old telephone!
