Rare North Electric Thick Shaft Candlestick TelephoneI just got a box of candlestick phones fresh from long term storage. The rest are pretty common, but tihs one isn't. It is missing the bottom plate, transmitter adn receiver, but these don't come along very often. It's about 9 1/2 inches high. I put it next to a regular 12 inch candlestick for comparison. From the early 1900's, ti has what i think is a cast iron base.
The shaft has a couple small dents and some scratches. The receiver hook functions properly and the rest of the internals of the shaft appear complete. I do have a very nice north receiver that did not come with it, but i am listing on another auction. Please ask any questions you may have and i can taek more pictures if you need them. Low reserve.
