Take a look at this beautifully refinished 202 telephone by northern electric. The oval base 202 was preceded by the 102 adn was followed by the 302 it was made for approx. A 10 year period. The earliest 202's were made with a heavier metal body using e1 handsets and the later 202's had lighter bodies with f1 handsets. The smooth ne #6 dail has a laminated dial plate and it works perfectly. This set is fully functional for making and receiving calls. Just plug it in to your standard wall jack. You will be delighted with its performance and your friends will be filled with envy to see it neslted among your wonderful antiques. The small ringer box has the old fashioned bell ring everyone wants. The box is beautifully finished and we believe it has the original decal. Northern electric sets are sisters to western electrics and identical in nearly every regard, but much more difficult to find. Especially wiht a stamped northern e1 handset. Telephones like this are getting hard to find and generally are a very good investment since they increase in value year after year.
