Skeletel desk phone made in stockholm, sweden 1894 model ac110 serial #474264. An excellent and very rare, original skeletel (eiffel tower)desk phone made in sweden in the early 1890's, the phone appears to have never been restored and all parts are original. The condition is fabulous. The serial # is on the rim of the deck above the bell moter and is #474264, which date this to 1894. A very early model and very rare. Note teh green handset cord was the original color cord on this model. Also note the early lightning arrestor on the deck, the fine condition of the bell motor and the bells themselves. There is some paint chipping, which is extrememly normal for a phone that is 120 years old. This phone would be a wodnerful addition to any antique telephone collection. Based on careful investigation, there is a reasonable reserve on this item.
