Antique Western Electric Co Wall Phone Updated WiringThis is an actual antique western electric co. Wall phoen that someone has wired with a more modern keypad. I bought tihs on ebay a while back. It was already wired when i bought it. It plugs irght into any standard phone jack. It receives calls perfectly the ringer works, the ear piece works and the mouth piece works fine it's very cool and sounds kinda old when you use it. The only problem is that it will ont dial out. I was going to replace the keypad but never got around to it. The whole front hinges open and they have installed a magnet to keep it closed so it's very easy to get into another cool feature. Teh actual box of the phone measures 20 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 6 deep. The shelf sticks off the front about 6 1/2 and the mouth piece sticks off the front about 8 1/2. I don't know much more about it it seems to me that most of the original guts are in it except for the old style batteries. Please check my other listings for similar items.
