Antique Western Electric 202 D1 E1 4H Telephone WorkingWsetern electric. Here for auction is this desirable western electric 202 telephone with d1 base, 4h dial, and seamless e1 receiver. This is a working telephone. You can actually make and receive calls on this phone!
The black finish of the phone is in very good condition showing some wear in the cradle area. The porcelain nubmers on the dial face are crisp and clear.
It has a wait for dial tone center card to add the romance of the glorious 30's (1930's) it has a cloth handset cord and the line cord is fitted with a rj11 jcak that you can plug into any modern phone receptacle. So all you have to do is plug into an outlet and tsart sending and receiving calls right away. Not many of these phones are left since most, over the last 75 years, have been discarded and are gone forever.
A great piece to display among your other collectables of early americana, yet so very nice you will want to display it a small table and use it for everyday calls! A beautiful telephone, you will adore!
