1940S Original Wood Phone Booth WphonelightblowerWe purchased this from terri's consign and design in 2000. We purchased for $1,500 then invested another $1,200 in refinishing the unit and replacing the chrome kick plates. Everything in the phone botoh works perfectly.
The phone is missing the plastic dial piece but works fine. hTis piece can be made (we have a drawing) or purchased easily online. It was removed from a hotel in montreal, canada originally. The phone has a retrofit cord so it works in any standard phone jack.
The unit also requires 110v ac to power the original working blower fan and light. The blower can be turned of from a separate switch located on the blower unit. Power is engaged once you enter the phone booth and close teh folding door. The light and blower then turn on.
Features include- original cherry wood seat that is perfect. Bi-fold door iwth glass panes and an interior handle to close and open- original automatic electric pay phone that works perfectly and plugs into any standard phone jack- electric blower fan and light that work perfectly and require a standard 110v wall outlet with ground- original keys to open the phone cash box- original ornate ceiling fitting to the 1940's style with matching panels (all perfect no damage)- chrome kick plate panels on both outside panels of phone booth- modern cherry wood stain- original toll pricing chart ($. 10) per calli will not ship this is for local pick up only.
